CRS Scholarship

The CRS Scholarship program is designed to support local Co-op team members pursuing full-time post-secondary studies in fields relevant to careers within the CRS, including business, agriculture, and pharmacy.

This scholarship offers up to $16,000 over the course of a four-year program. Recipients will also participate in summer work placements within the CRS throughout their studies. Additionally, students whose summer work placements are more than 50 kilometers from their home or post-secondary residence will receive a living allowance of $500 per month.

Upon completing both their post-secondary program and the CRS Scholarship program, students will be eligible for full-time positions within the CRS across Western Canada. Furthermore, if a full-time position is offered at a local Co-op, recipients may qualify for a 75% tuition reimbursement for their final year of studies, provided they complete two years of full-time service at the Local Co-op.

The program not only fosters long-term growth and success within the CRS but also offers geographical opportunities across numerous CRS locations in Western Canada. Applications are due by October 15th. For more information please contact careers@sccoop.ca.

Student Application Process:

• Students will complete the application form found on the HUB and submit the completed application form either through a ticket on HR Self Service or by sending the application to CRSScholarship@fcl.crs

• You will need to include

o Resume
o Proof of enrollment in a post secondary institute
o Transcript of Academic Record
o One letter of recommendation/reference
o Apply by October 15th (if you need assistance, please contact careers@sccoop.ca

• The selection process will then commence and you may be contacted for an interview
• If selected after the interview process, you will be contacted on the next steps
