South Country Co-op Board members present a cheque to the Prairie Gleaners society in support of their operations. The Prairie Gleaners Society exists to help support resource poor communities by gleaning locally grown produce which would not be marketed to local grocers. The produce is dehydrated and packaged for distribution to people in need within Canada and around the world. All of their work is accomplished with the year round support of volunteers, local producers and packers. 

Representing the Co-op Board were three Directors  Richard Potter President, Roger Vizbar Vice President, and Tim Heeg director.
