Community Development Award

We are very excited to announce that your South Country Coop has won the 2018 Equip Team award for Community Development!

This award recognizes a team that demonstrates outreach through community involvement and/or social media to enhance the positive perception of Co-op Agro and the agriculture industry.

If there is an Ag trade show, a beef show, a 4H event, bull sale, or rodeo, you will find South Country Co-op there front and centre. South Country Co-op is the major name sponsor for multiple community AG related events - and our staff volunteers at every one of these. We support the Canada Food Grains bank and raised significant donations for HALO - the only medical helicopter service in Southern Alberta. This past fall there was a devastating wild fire in the Acadia Valley area, and South Country Co-op stepped up right away donating food and water to the firefighters and sold fence posts at cost to help out the farmers and ranchers. There is no doubt that South Country Co-op is the leader in donating their time and money to develop their community.

We would like to congratulate our South Country Coop Ag Team for there hard work and dedication to the CRS and most importantly, Co-op Agro customers.
